An oil on board attributed and possibly by David Teniers 1610-1690. A Flemish Baroque painter, printmaker, draughtsman, miniaturist painter, staffage painter, copyist and art curator he was an extremely versatile artist known for his prolific output. This painting depicts a tavern scene with a well fed patron enjoying a drink and a meal with further figures huddled around a table in the background. Approx size including frame 46cm x 38cm.
