A scarce small novelty silver propelling pencil in the form of a pistol with finely detailed handle and with a link,presumably to be used/worn as part of a chatelaine,the trigger guard with sliding mechanism to extend the pencil,probably early 20th century,tested as silver and with indistinct motifed mark,hallmarked examples by Sampson and Mordan are recorded.
