Alfred G Vanderbilt,a rare and superbly presented booklet containing 19 photographic cards depicting the multi millionaire's coach and horses on it's journey from London to Brighton in 1914.The coach named ''Venture'' was on its seventh and what was to become its last journey for the famous American businessman and sportsman who,in 1915,was on the RMS Lusitania when it was sunk by a German U Boat.Famously Vanderbilt,a non swimmer,gave his life jacket to a woman passenger.The cards are in chronological order and presented in a red suede cover with silver colour embossed detail to one corner ''Venture London to Brighton 1914'' also containing his card
