Ford Capri 1600GT 1972 To be confirmed for our August Auction is this superb and very desirable 1972 Ford Capri 1600GT. Since February 1992 it has been owned and on display at a Ford Main dealership in Europe, as part of a personal collection of classic cars after receiving a body restoration (at this time it was changed from its original blue colour to the resplendent orange colour you see today) . The interior is said to be original and in excellent condition. It is rare to have a full "webasto" type roof also in excellent order. In December 2015 it was refreshed prior to being put back on the road and registered as historic. This included new tyres, brake pipes, water pump etc. and it passed the very stringent local test with flying colours. It will be supplied back on its UK plates and with a full UK MOT. A rare find indeed in this condition.
