This very pretty 1979 MG Midget was subject to a full restoration a few years back and still presents very well today. Body wise apart from a couple of places requiring slight attention, the paint is bright and shiny with the interior still being very good. The dash with its traditional clocks, is in very good condition as is the renewed when restored soft top. In the boot is all good as are the inner wings etc under the bonnet. Comes with its toneau cover, new tryres and a stainless exhaust all being recently fitted. The 1500cc engine fires at first ask, soon warms off choke then settles to a nice tick over. On the road it gives a surprisingly spirited performance, with its short throw 4 speed gear box being ideally geared to add to the fun. When you chuck in its handling capabilities as well, you can understand why these diminutive cars are so popular and with their easy to live with mechanicals, make such a good classic car not only for the home maintenance enthusiast but for entry into classic car ownership.
