Lotus Elan +2 Rare Convertible PROJECT 1970 - Offered here as a rolling Project is this very rare 1970 Lotus +2 Elan Convertible. There is no engine or gearbox available with the car, there is however a roof frame, a new dash board and fuel tank otherwise what you see is what you get. There is a V5 with it and it is a UK Right Hand Drive Car. The vendor is in the process of trying to find any more parts he might have and this listing will be updated accordingly. The body itself appears to be very straight, unfortunately there is a small vertical crack leading from the r/h rear arch about 6 inches long that happened at some point while sitting in a garage. The dash is all there but with a cracked lens on the rev counter, the electrics are present behind it, seats all look useable but the drivers seat has split along the seam. There are various other components present so Please carefully study the pictures and make your own minds up. Price wise? Who knows, Lotus car values are going up daily, even the more mundane models are now suddenly desirable, let alone the early Elans such as this, so the vendor has set the reserve low to allow the market to decide.
