Ford Mustang Convertible 1964 RIGHT HAND DRIVE Automatic - For all you people out there that say "I really want a classic American car but cant get on with Left Hand Drive" well now here is your chance! They do not get much more classic that an early Mustang and a bright red convertible one at that!! Declared manufactured in 1964 this "Muzzy" came into the UK in 1987 and the vendors father bought it pretty much "as is" 10 odd years ago. All he did was to source some original wheels, fitted the proper tyres (now covered less than 50 miles) and fitted an Eldebrock "Performer" 500 CFM Carburettor. Unfortunately that was the last thing he did as he passed away soon after. Now having stood in its garage for 8 years, only going out each year to give it a run and a fresh MOT. The vendor says that while it starts and runs and comes with a current MOT an amount of recommissioning would be advisable prior to use .Apart from the obvious rarity of being a "Right Hooker" the car is optioned with a fully working power hood and disc brakes as well. The 289 V8 under the bonnet is as nice as the rest of the car. All the general mechanics are stated as very good. The body and interior that were restored prior to his fathers ownership are still good with a nice shine to the paint and the interior needing no more than a clean. The dash runs a full complement of aftermarket clocks that all work as do all the other electrical items on the car. Priced at probably close to half of its true value this car is cheap enough to spend a small amount to convert it back to a LHD car, if thats what you wanted, with every part for a Mustang being easily available, or just leave as is and enjoy having a one of a kind Mustang.
