Jaguar XKR Convertible Supercharged 2000 First registered on the last day of year 2000 December the 31st this lovely Jaguar XKR Convertible must have been a nice way to of started the New Year for its first owner. Unusual to see one in black the paintwork is still in very good order and contrasts beautifully against the pale coloured leather and Burl Walnut interior.
Owned for the last 3 years by a Jaguar enthusiast sitting very nicely in his garage alongside his E Type there is a full Jaguar service history up to 80460 then a further non dealer stamp at 90832 in July 2011 it now has 106K on the clock. The vendor tells us that while in his keep he has had lots of work done to bring it up to the standard it is today and describes its mechanical condition as very good.
Those of you that know your Jags will instantly recognise by the mesh front grill the subtle boot lid mounted rear spoiler and the red background of the bonnet emblem that this Big Cat is powered by the Supercharged 370 horse power variant of the then new Jaguar 4 litre V8 engine. Giving this car a much more performance orientated feel than its predecessor the XJS.
With summer just round the corner and with prices climbing for nice cars like this now is the time to grab one while they are still in reach of the average person. Stunning looks a growling Supercharged V8 under the bonnet a beautifully appointed interior all in a great condition and for half the price of a basic new Ford Focus figure that??
