Mercedes 300SL R107 1989 Being first registered in August 1989 and production of the R107 finishing August 4th 1989 this nice 300 SL R107 must be one of the last to be registered in the UK before being superseded. Having the 3 litre 6 cylinder engine gives this car only 10 horse power less than the 3.5 litre V8 but at less revs and lighter weight out front this translates to a very smooth and agile car that some people prefer a more sporty feel. The vendor a Mercedes enthusiast himself has owned this car for the last 6 years and carried out any small jobs and maintenance himself. The car has a service history book stamped up to 127782 miles in 2005. Having now covered 153247 miles and still running very well.
