A rare Rolex 6239 Daytona Cosmograph Paul Newman wristwatch. This exciting and rare model has serial number 1083449, from 1964, with a black and silvered panda dial. This highly sought after timepiece is in working order, with both buttons working. However, the seconds hand does stick at twelve o'clock and the head of the winding crown is not threading correctly. This Rolex comes with the original bracelet. The watch is in original condition. Provenance: We are delighted to have the full history of this exceptional wristwatch, purchased in Malaga by Mr Juan Sanchez Gomez. We have accompanying photographs of the gentleman wearing the wristwatch in the 1970s and the watch has remained in the family ever since. It has finally been left with the original owners godson. We have full documentation to support this provenance. Condition: There are some scratches to the glass, strap and case, also to the detailed outer bezel which also has some black enamel missing. As stated, the seconds hand also sticks at twelve o'clock with some threading issues to the crown.
