Believed to be born in England to French parents, he started off as a European Flyweight in 1919 but was more well known for being a flamboyant promoter. There are 5 posters including a young Henry Cooper in 1958. Photos start from around 1920 when Robert Diamant, as he was known then, started fighting. Luis Romero was one of his fighters and there are some photos of him with a rosette worn by his team in Johannesburg 1951. There are lots of promo cards of fighters sometimes autographed.
