The Stranglers have sold over 1.5 million albums and over 600,000 singles. Their singles ''Peaches'', ''Something Better Change'' and ''No More Heroes'' became instant punk classics. 'Strange Little Girl', which had originally been recorded on a demo in '74 and rejected by EMI became a hit when added to their ''Greatest Hits'' album in 1982 charting at No.7 in July of that year. In mid 2008, and 2009 the band played at many international venues, including the biggest open-air festival in Europe, Przystanek Woodstock in Poland, In 2013 they played several festivals and a session at the BBC Proms on 12 August. This Stranglers CD 'Giants' , released in March 2012 is signed in black by all the band members.
