A Rare British Military George III 1803 Sabre. This rare sword with a wired Shagreen grip lion head pommel and with the cypher of George III the curved blade with makers mark to the blade Webe Manufactures 57 Picedills (Piccadilly) London also with the inscriptions Warranted. These swords where bought by officers and not standard Military issue. Used by Infantry flank officers. This example with a steel scabbed length 88cm
