Two bottles of vintage port 1967 , no label, seal reads Peatling & Cawdron. Vendor comments for provenance Greene King , good levels. Thomas Peatling of Bury St Edmunds began a wine and spirit partnership in Wisbech in 1826. By 1830 the firm had expanded to Bedford and St Ives, later becoming Thos. Peatling & Sons. In the early 20th century it grew through acquisitions in King’s Lynn and Wisbech, became agents for Greene King in 1911, joined forces with them in 1934, and later absorbed Herbert Cawdrons of Wells-on-Sea in 1954
