Manchester United Rare 1958 Busby Babes Football Memorabilia: An incredible lot relating to the Munich Air Disaster. Hand written letter from Erika and Dr George Maurer ( Head of Munich Hospital) dated 16 3 1958 to Manchester United chairman Harold Hardman thanking them for the visit of the doctors and nurses to the match on 8 3 1958 v West Brom. Letter is written in English and he explains the unforgettable experience of being applauded by 60000 people. There is also an original photo of the doctors and nurses coming out of the tunnel at Old Trafford. There is a later printed large document on the Civil Aircraft Accident. On Red Star Belgrade official A4 paper there are 11 hand signed autographs. There is an original printed sheet from Eddie Colmans parents stating thanks for the sympathy and a replica copy of the celebration of life. There are 5 original press photos of the match including the famous last line up which are copied from this original. There are 7 more original larger press photos of which 4 relate to the disaster with players returning to Harwich or in hospital. Included are some magazines and newspapers produced later, 57/58 Arsenal v Manchester United programme which was the last time the Babes played together in England, 40th anniversary programmes and invite plus more.
