A superb quality Scottish highland regalia set, comprising an 1888 Edinburgh silver dirk set with three citrines, a 1891 Glasgow silver Sgian Dubh ceremonial dagger, both presented in fitted case by R.& H.B.Kirkwood, Goldsmiths, Edinburgh, a silver mounted and white leather sporran with interesting coat of arms, possibly for the 'Norman Lamont, Knockdow', and a silver sash buckle. The dirk and sporran both stamped 'R&H.Kirkwood, 66&68 Thistle Street, Edinburgh who exhibited at The Glasgow Exhibition of 1888. The dagger and sporran both hallmarked for Thomas Ross and Sons.
