Ford Model T. Two seat Convertible 1927 - I must admit, there we were, standing outside in the freezing cold fighting with a frozen lock on a door when with a cheeky "Parp" from its vintage horn, this gorgeous piece of motoring history rolled into view, enough to make anyone smile!
Having been fully restored in its country of origin Canada, prior to it being shipped to its current owner, this lovely last year of production convertible "T" is in close to museum quality in all aspects, in fact I am sure lesser examples are on display in museums round the world. What makes it even more special is the fact that the vendor will use it as long as there is no salt on the roads, in fact in 2014 he completed a 350 or so mile tour round France in it.
While being restored a very necessary upgrade to the brakes was made by fitting a brake compensator, then on arrival with the vendor he fitted additional stop, tail and indicators lights using period lamps, so making the car much more suitable for todays roads while still looking "correct".
While the pictures speak volumes, you need to see it in the flesh to realise the quality of the work carried out during restoration, it is of a very high quality and detail, even down to the paintwork being done to look correct and not the perfectly flat, uniform finish you get with modern paints. Everything was restored not just the body but 100% of the car and as such is as good underneath as it is on top!
It would be nice for this "T" to go to a new home where it will be continued to be used, in fact the vendor has offered any private buyer that is unfamiliar with the operation of a Model T, a free lesson to show them if present at the auction or local after it. Yes there are cheaper examples on the market today, but if you are looking for a genuinely 100 percent ready to go, last year of production car, this "T" will tick all the boxes.
NOTE : For those of you that like this sort of thing, this actual car was used in the very last scene in the popular TV series "Mr Selfridge" following him and his female companion down the road as they walked .
NOTE 2 : The vendor has asked us to bring to your attention a couple of items. Firstly he will be presenting it with a full uk mot, although not required he feels this would give prospective buyers confidence knowing it has been checked recently for road worthyness. Secondly that this "T" runs sweetly on both battery and magneto power sources.

Citroen DS 21 1968 - This gorgeous Citroen DS 21 is waiting to come over from its home in Europe, so full details will be given and more pictures when available. Suffice to say it is one of the nicest cars available today and the vendor is being very realistic with his reserve. Mechanically it is good enough for him to plan to get in it at his house in France and drive it over to us. So please keep a look out on this listing and we will update as soon as we can.

Chrysler Crossfire 6 Speed Manual 2004 - With a very short production run of only 4 years coupled to their "retro" styling the Chrysler Crossfire was destined to become a modern day classic from the day the first car rolled off the production line in 2004. Developed during the union of Daimler and Chrysler, this stunning two-seater is based on the R170 platform and shares 80% of its components with the R170 Mercedes-Benz SLK320 and they were built by "Karmann" in Germany.
This particular car was registered new in July 2004 so is a first year of production car and one of only 4000 RHD versions of this model that were built over the 4 years. Presented in a deep black gloss with matching leather interior, the exterior is very good and is complimented by recently refurbished silver coloured alloy wheels shod with new tyres ( total cost 800). Inside is lovely with no damage to the leather and "fully Loaded" with air con (recently recharged) etc as all Crossfires are.
Under the bonnet sits a 215 HP version of Mercedes 3.2 L, 18-valve, SOHC V6 engine which when complimented with their slick 6 Speed manual gearbox, guarantees shall we say "brisk" performance but excellent fuel economy. In fact the vendor recently completed a 2500 mile continental driving tour during which the car was subjected to a complete cross-section of driving conditions (enough to say the speed operated rear spoiler was fully extended on more than one occasion) and it returned an average of 35.5 Miles per Gallon. Stated as driving faultlessly with no warning lamps lit on the dash. Note: The Traction control lamp appears to be on in the picture, it is not, it lights up brighter if you turn it off or if there is a fault, that is it in the normal mode.
These cars are ridiculously low priced at the moment, you cannot buy a half decent used saloon car from the Far East for the sort of money they sell for! This will change, prices for good cars in good colours are now rising and a car in this condition/colour combination with only 96K on the clock and a full service history (last stamp shows 93K) will always be sought after.
Currently MOTd until May 2017 the vendor will put a new MOT on prior to the auction. His personal plate will be removed so it will be back on its age related plate by then as well.

Armstrong Siddeley 12-6 Fixed Head "Doctors Coupe" 1934 - Here at ECCA we have already established a reputation for offering cars that are rare and have not been offered for sale for a long time. This 1934 Armstrong 12/6 Fixed head "Doctors Coupe" complete with "Dicky seat" is a perfect example of this.
Found by the vendor in 1980, abandoned in a derelict state from long term storage in an East London garage. Owned by him since (yes since 1980) and fully restored with no expense spared. This Maltby bodied car is one of only 3 ever made. Out of the other two, one is lost and the other is rumoured but not confirmed, to be in Australia. What state it is in or even its existence today, who knows (confirmed in the cars history file by way of a letter from the Armstrong Owners Club) so its feasible this could be the last car of its kind in the world!
We are proud that its owner, who is now 80 and cannot cherish it like he would want anymore, has chosen our Auction house to market the car for him. When he says restored, he means a complete body off restoration with nothing not receiving attention. There are bills for 5765 (Engine Build) and 2193 (Interior) from 1990 alone, multiply those figures to prices charged today! While apart its all-aluminium body was treated for corrosion and its Ash frame was against wood worm. In its file are photos showing this and dating right back to the day it was first discovered.
Even though the pictures are of poor quality (sorry but the vendor has no computer so these are copies of "real" photos, remember them?) you can see the quality of this car. Bodywork, which is more cream than the white it appears in the pictures, is still very good with very few imperfections, just one small crack in the paint on the l/h windscreen side support worth mentioning. Mechanically everything is good but as the engine has not been started for two years or so, since it featured in an episode of the TV show "Posh Porn" where they drove it for over an hour (even they offered 10K for it so we know its worth a lot more) it will now need a degree of recommissioning prior to starting and driving. In that time it has been stood on its own jacks so no weight on the tyres etc.
Interior and the rear Dicky seat are lovely and in excellent condition still, a testament to the quality of the restoration work carried out. Tyres and wheels are all very good too. Offered for sale with a very realistic reserve and coming with its original buff log book, a letter from DVLA stating that due to its "historic importance" they were happy to re-issue the cars original number plate, the letter of Authenticity from the Armstrong club and a stack of pictures showing various stages of its restoration. What more could you ask for?

Austin A40 1962 - This lovely Austin A40 was first registered new in 1962 and has had only two owners in its life, undergoing a full restoration while in its current owner and vendors keep. Only 53K miles recorded on the original speedometer and with many old mots helping to back up this low mileage.
Having been laid dormant for 12 years prior to him purchasing it he then set out on a total restoration over the following years. During this time the engine was removed and rebuilt including a new cylinder head converted to run on un-leaded petrol. Its brake system was completely rebuilt using new wheel cylinders, brake linings and hoses and the refurbished wheels, all 5 of them, were shod with the correct Dunlop tyres.
Outside the shell was taken back to bare metal, it was at this point it was discovered that the car had never been welded or rusty in its life, so was treated to the appropriate actions prior to receiving its professional respray just over two years ago. Once this was done, all exterior chrome work was replaced with new items, over 1000 spent on them alone, any stainless steel trims re-polished before fitting and all the window rubbers were replaced (phew!)
The interior received the same attention, but as the seats were in such good order they were heavily cleaned while the carpets were replaced. The dash is all original and in lovely shape. All in all the vendor spent in excess of 5,500 on the restoration and that does not include his own labour, just the bits he has the bills for in its history file, which also includes various photos taken during the restoration. Now only for sale due to lack of use by its 80 year old owner and his desire for someone else to enjoy it.
Although, as we said rarely used, the vendor will ensure it will be running and driving prior to auction. But we guess it would be best to expect a small amount of recommissioning prior to driving. DWC156 comes with its file of receipts, owners manual and original Bill of Sale. For those that might be interested and it would be a shame to do it, the registration book is not marked with "Non Transferable " so the plate itself must be worth 1000 plus, if thats the case ( down to you to confirm this with DVLA not us)
Now offered with a reserve that is less than just the money spent and definitely worth it as an investment or a perfect first classic car.
NB: Sorry about the poor quality pictures but the owner does not have a computer so these are pictures of photos.

MGB Roadster "Chrome Bumper" 1974 - Needing no introduction is this 1974, so last year of the "Chrome Bumpers", MGB Roadster. Presented in the popular colours of green over a black interior and having been subject to a full restoration in the early to mid 90S.
Included in the restoration was the fitment of a new engine at 40,000 miles so with only 52,000 miles on the clock today its barely run in and behaves accordingly on the road, especially on the more twisty A and B roads where the lower centre of gravity of the pre-rubber bumper cars really comes into its own, allowing you to fully use the venerable 1800cc twin Carb motor fully and if wanted, giving how should we say? A "hasty" progress that would embarrass many modern cars.
With thousands spent over the years and with the bills to prove, its hardly surprising that the vendor describes the general mechanics as 100% quoting" I would drive it to Cornwall without a thought". The engine is still fresh, with excellent oil pressure and the gearbox is tight ,with the overdrive on 3rd and 4th gear that these later cars had, still working in both gears.
Body wise, although painted 20 odd years ago, its still very good ( in the history file are pictures of the car in full primer prior to painting). But it is 20 years since, the car has been used and there are a couple of minor imperfections.
Interior is lovely and comes with both half and full toneau covers, while the vendor states he spent a long time under the car , prior to it being professionally rust proofed, trying to spot any problem areas, nothing and no sign of any previous repairs either.
Comes with a nice file of receipts for things like the engine, a fresh MOT prior to the auction, loads of old MOTs dating back to 1996 and a valuation certificate showing a value of 8,500 in 2002. Sweet!
Please Note: Will be back on its original "N" plate when sold at the auction

Lancia Appia 1960 Restoration Project - Offered here is a 1960 Lancia Appia that is very solid and mostly there but in need of total restoration. As you can see by the pictures this is not a weekends work. Engine/gearbox are present as is all the interior. Body as said, is solid basically rust free and amazingly straight with all the doors still shutting with that "Factory" clunk. Glass is all good. Dash is good but one clock glass is cracked. Car rolls freely so easy to load.
Imported by the vendor, himself Italian, he has decided with his increasing age that he needs to reduce his collection of cars and has asked us to help him do so. More details and better pictures will be available when we have collected it from him prior to the auction. Registered onto a UK V5 and offered at a reserve price you could not even pay the transport from Italy for it.
Surely got to be worth saving but otherwise an excellent source of rare parts.
Please note: In response to various question that what is in the pictures is what is there, so any missing parts are exactly that, missing.

Landrover Defender 90 Turbo Diesel 1990 SWB Pick up - THIS CAR IS LISTED AS A TOTAL LOSS " Estimated cost of Commercial repair was more than value of vehicle."
This very nice "Landy" has as you can see, been subject to a total loss claim in 2015. Apparently it had a minor under bonnet fire but we cannot verify this, either way it is listed as "not commercially viable to repair" and the insurers wrote it off! Not an uncommon occurrence nowadays and becoming more and more common due to the inflated rates charged by some repair companies. You tell me how many 26 year old Land Rovers that A. Have not had some damage in their life and B. Look this good?
With only 104K miles on the clock it really is a very nice example. The 2.5 Liter Diesel engine fires straight up with no fuss and being this later model, its equipped with a five speed gearbox. On the road the turbo pulls it along very well. Brakes and general mechanics are all good and there is a current MOT through to July 2017. (Exhaust tail pipe is missing) Wheels and tyres are all very good.
Interior is tidy with genuine floor mats and no sign of heavy usage. The passenger door does have the internal lock knob missing though, otherwise all good.
With the demise of production, these "real" Land Rovers are getting harder to find and more expensive by the day. Without this ones history then it would definitely be worth 8k or so, this gives someone the opportunity to own one for far less.

Honda GL1000 K1 Gold Wing 1976 - GL 1000 "Wings" are a rare enough sight on our roads today, but to find a genuine UK spec, not EU or American bike in this sort of condition, that is not locked away in a private collection or museum and that is available to buy, is almost unheard of!
This 1976 K1 version with only 21,488 on the clock (believed to be correct and backed up by old MOTs etc) is in overall very good condition and is still in use, so you can get on and enjoy it. Coming with good history including service receipts, its original tool kit and owners handbook. MOTs back to 1984, its old tax discs and with the current MOT valid until July 2017.
The vendor has recently fitted new Continental tyres front and rear and reports the bike "rides very well". This Goldwing really does offer an excellent opportunity to not only own a bit of Japanese motorcycle history, but also an excellent investment for the future as these early Wings get harder and harder to find with values increasing accordingly.

Porsche 356 Speedster Legend Replica 1970 - With its stunning Speedster shape from the 50s is this Legend 356. One of the nicest replica cars we have seen.

Finished in Porsche Bright Silver metallic bodywork, a new Mohair hood, period chrome wheels shod with Firestone F560 tyres, period bucket seats in matching grey with red piping and complete with full wet weather side windows.

Equipped with a 1600cc Air-cooled engine fitted with twin carbs, this car is fun to drive especially with its very strong and rigid "Legend" chassis, it will encourage you to take the long way home. Roof down, sun out who wants to be screaming along a motorway any way??

Having been in storage for the past 5 years the vendor has recently had it recommissioned ready for sale including: New battery, front brake callipers and pads, front bearings and gear linkage bush. The engine was rebuilt with replacement barrels and pistons, new gaskets and seals and a new clutch slave cylinder was fitted. The car comes with an mot and is ready to enjoy

In our opinion, one of the nicest things about this 356 replica is it has its own genuine patina to the body and interior which makes it look and feel authentic. Not to be confused with a lot of the inferior replicas on offer today.

NOTE: With the constant attention the current owner lavishes on this car he has bought it to our attention that he has now fitted genuine and working Porsche 356 Interior door handles since the pictures were taken.

The car comes with an mot and is ready to enjoy In our opinion, one of the nicest things about this 356 replica is it has its own genuine patina to the body and interior which makes it look and feel authentic. Not to be confused with a lot of the inferior replicas on offer today. NOTE: With the constant attention the current owner lavishes on this car he has bought it to our attention that he has now fitted genuine and working Porsche 356 Interior door handles since the pictures were taken.

Honda 50 AC15 "Dream" Race replica with ultra low miles - Do you ride it or put it on the wall, it is after all as pretty as a picture??
These diminutive 50cc Honda Motorcycles, named a "AC- 15 Honda Dream" were produced for one year only, 1997/8 to commemorate the successful 1962 Honda CR110 single cylinder racer. Not only was the production run a very short one but they were only produced for the Japanese Domestic Market and as such were never an "officially" imported bike elsewhere, making them a very rare thing and an instant collectors piece.
This particular bike is as good as new with only 26 Kilometres (16 miles) on the odometer. It was first registered new in the UK in March 2001 by a motorcycle shop that did not resell until 2005 so you can only surmise it was on show. From then a company owned it prior to the vendor that put it into his private collection, which is where it stayed, still with just the one previous keeper ( the bike shop) showing on the V5.
Honda really pulled out all the stops with this bike, even designing a rarely seen configuration single cylinder engine with double over-head cam shafts, a double tube frame and disc brakes front and rear. Toped of with the one of tank, tail piece and dropped bars to replicate the original racer.
As you can see the bike is just about as good as new with just a very slight ageing on things like the spokes, maybe the tiniest mark here and there, it is effectively nearly 20 years old after all. It will need to be recommissioned if you want to use it or just get the no more nails out!
A very rare opportunity to buy such a low mileage example and super collectable and one that will make you smile every time you look at it.

Norton 750 Atlas 1963 "Cafe Racer" - Now if you are reading this, the likely hood is you were of an age in the sixties when you either walked round in tight fitting trousers and a Parka style jacket and rode small two stroke Italian motorcycles with ten inch wheels or you spent most of your time hanging around outside places like Londons "Ace Caf" in jeans and a leather jacket trying to look like Marlon Brando. If you fit into the latter category then your bike of choice might well of looked like this 1963 Norton Atlas .
From its "dropped bars" through the skinny alloy tank and its single seat with bum stop, it just looks right. Originally designed for the American market, to satisfy their lust for big cc motors (the Atlas name, apparently, came from the name of Americas Intercontinental Ballistic Missile) its 750 cc twin engine was mounted in Nortons legendary "Featherbed" frame. Giving the engine a frame that handled as well as it went.
With only 5 keepers and having spent the last few years in a private collection, it will need some amount of recommissioning. Condition is lovely if you want something that is a useable bike. There are some marks etc on it but that is what makes this particular bike look so right in our opinion.
Long overshadowed by the single cylinder bikes from Norton, these big twins are now coming into their own, being a third of the price helps! But with very few new examples coming to market, values are now moving upwards quickly so this bike represents a rare opportunity to own one at a sensible price. Plus you can dress up like Marlon Brando but thats another story!

Kawasaki Z1300 Fuel Injection 1984 Low Miles - One of only 3 models of mass produced 6 cylinder motorcycles. The Kawasaki Z1300 was the only one that offered water cooling and shaft drive, then eventually digital fuel injection. If you had one of these back in the 80s you were a lucky person!
"B999" has been tucked away in a private collection for a good few years and was last taxed for road use in 1987, (although it was last MOTd in 2010) With just under 12000 miles recorded on its odometer and in a condition that would lend credence this low miles. Apart from brand new stainless steel exhaust being recently fitted by the vendor it is original and very rare to see in the red.
Cosmetically in a good condition and the engine runs well, but as with all bikes that have stood, we recommend a level of recommissioning prior to usage. They will never make bikes like these again and as Japanese classics like the Z13s smaller brother the Z900 whose prices have now hit 20,000 pounds for a good one, Z1300 values are following suit.

Citroen DS Super 1970 Manual - With its 2.1 litre engine coupled to the sought after 5 speed manual gearbox, this recently arrived in the UK DS Citroen was described to us as being "a bit of a flyer" on its way over. Effortlessly cruising at motorway speeds, in the true comfort only Citroen offered in the sixties and early seventies.
Mechanically all is good, especially the engine and gearbox. Cosmetically it is good with some small areas that could be improved, but nothing that detracts from its general good looks and far better than cars that have been offered lately at nearly twice the reserve this one is offered with!
Interior is a nice original one with that smell and feel you only get from the original leather etc. There is some general ageing, I think its called "Patina" nowadays, but again nothing that a good feed with leather treatment and a clean would not improve, its lasted 46 years and would be a shame to do more. Roof lining is very good as are the dash, instruments, door cards etc etc.
So if youre in the market for one of these instantly recognised cars at a price that will not break the bank but one that is mechanically strong and perfectly useable as is, this has got to be considered.
Supplied with all its French papers to allow registration in which ever country it sells to and an age related registration if it stays here in the UK
Note. Car pictured as arrived and not cleaned yet.

Lancia Flavia Coupe 1800 Injection 1966 - This one owner from new 1966 1800cc Lancia Flavia Coupe has a genuine 60,000 kms on the clock ,warranted by its owner a Swiss solicitor. Having spent its life being used to take part in time trial rallies etc when he was staying at his chateau in Switzerland, as such it has led a cosseted life. Not a restored car though, so things like the original leather interior is showing its age, no massive damage just the odd nick and needing recolonising. The dash and instrumentation are in good order. Carpets and roof lining are also all good.
Its beautiful "Pininfarina" coupe body is very good and virtually rust free, with the sort of lines that make these cars so recognisable. All the chrome bumpers and exterior trim are very good too. Mechanically it is very strong and helped in no small way by being the much nicer to drive 1800cc with fuel injection derivative, giving it so much more tractability than the smaller 1500cc units.
These 60s Lancias were designed by the leading design houses of their time, hand built and totally over engineered. Ironically the very things that bought about Lancias eventual capitulation to Fiat are the very things that make them so sought after today. Prices for these cars are up and take it from us, with serious speculators and collectors now looking at them as investments and worthwhile additions to their collections, if you want one now is the time to buy while you still can. Supplied with its original papers to allow you to register it on age related plates here in the Uk.
PLEASE NOTE: The car is pictured pretty much as it arrived and will cleaned prior to the sale by the vendor.

WITHDRAWN - Massey Ferguson MF1505 "Twin Turbo V8" 1978 - Well as we have said many a time, here at ECCA we like to be different!! This very rare MF 1505 tractor is very sought after by collectors of agricultural Tractors and Machinery.
Bought new in 1978 by an Essex farm then sold to the current owner/farmers father in 1984, the vendor spent his formative years in this tractor, hours on end with just him and his father in the cab. His father has now passed and although he planned to keep and restore it himself, he realises that on a busy farm this is just not going to happen so it is with a heavy heart he has decided to offer it for auction, rather than leaving it standing and deteriorating in front of his eyes.
Having only gone into retirement a few years back so according to him, with a battery it will fire into life again. It was fully operational right up to its replacement by a much more modern John Deere unit (yes easier to use and more productive, but just not as much fun apparently!!). The power plant is a Caterpillar V8 displacing 636 Cubic inchs so about 10.5 Litres and in standard trim put out apx.174HP but while in the vendors family the twin turbo conversion was fitted giving it more like 220 HP. In the past Tractor enthusiasts have turned up at harvest time just to hear it working!
Obviously it is offered as a NON FUNCTIONING tractor, it is NOT fit to be worked without restoring and recommissioning and as such is offered as a Restoration Project. With its size etc it WILL NOT be present at our auction site but can be viewed by arrangement prior to the auction just outside of Rayleigh in Essex. Interested parties are to contact ECCA directly to make the arrangements.
