WW2 US 1905 Pattern 16 "Bayonet Dated 1918. By now the Garand bayonet was reduced to 10 inches, however these were purposely kept at the original length for use in the Pacific as a counter measure to the long bayonets of the Japanese Arisaka. This is a 1918 dated bayonet made by the Springfield Armoury, refurbished with plastic grips.
