A rare late 1930s to early 1940s Smiths (Jaeger Le Coulter made) Spitfire 24 hour aircraft cockpit clock displaying luminous Arabic numerous on the outer edge of the face with a subsidiary dial to the twelve oclock position presenting the time of trip. The back case of the clock is stamped A M below a crown to the top of the and 6082 to the bottom right. The side of the case is marked Brevert Suisse 111.406. Alongside the clock is a World War Two military aircraft compass, marked with the RAF arrow above 6A / 1672.
