An antique Russian silver Yad (Or Jewish Torah Pointer) the top surmounted with a lion standing on a pierced globular shape and below an angled section with a twist form Star of David and a pointing,arched hand,impressed marks O.C 1878 and with 84 mark,the O.C possibly the mark for Josef Sosnkowski,the assay master in Warsaw from 1860 to 1896,a part of Russia at that time
