1966 World Cup Forged FDC + Court Letters: Massive story in 1967 that made the news. Stamp Collecting magazine received an advert promoting England Winners stamp with postmark Diss Norfolk 18 8 1966 but the date stamp was forged and if you have one its also fake. In this lot was the obviously rare FDC that was used in evidence, guilty plea letter, Stamp Collecting magazine letters produced in court, letter to give evidence from the court and a photocopy of the original advert.
