A pair of late 19th century bronze bust after jean- antoine houdon. Alexandre and louise were the children of the parisian architect Alexandre Theodore Brongniart who designed the citys old stock exchange. Alexandre the younger eventually went on to become the director of the serves factory for nearly fifty years. The original terracotta busts of the brogniart children can be found in the Louvre. 44cm
