An intricate and wonderfully decorative large mid century Chinese silk embroidery of 100 Birds. “Hundred Birds paying court to the Phoenix” (Bainiao Chao Feng 百鸟朝凤), the phrase carries the meaning of “Peace under a wise ruler," (155cm x 95cm). (Previously owned and from the estate of Sid James unfortunately no provenance).
