She is one of Britain's best loved comediennes, well known for her drily delivered stand up comedy. In 2003, was listed in The Observer as one of the 50 funniest acts in British comedy. Her books include 'A Load of Old Balls: Men in History' and 'A Load of Old Ball Crunchers: Women in History.' In January 2013, Jo appeared with Tom Daley on the ITV celebrity diving show 'Splash!' as a judge.
