1923 - 1924 Fred Karnos X1 v Southampton Amateurs Football Programme: Karnos football team were based in Exeter and played charity matches v Exeter Leyton and others. Made up of ex footballers and included Spratt Manchester United McNaught Rangers Boyle Sheffield United and Hilsdon Chelsea. Karno who was a film and theatre star promoted a young Charlie Chaplin Will Hay Max Miller and Stan Laurel. We believe this match was played at the Dell but we are not certain. 6 page gatefold programme is fair with no team changes.
