Liverpool 1963 - 1964 League Championship Winning Medal: 9ct gold medal awarded to Chris Lawler many years after playing 6 matches as a young lad in his first season for Liverpool. This medal is exactly the same as his team mates received in 1964 stating The Football League Champions Division 1 to front with reverse reading Season 1963-64 Chris Lawler with Vaughtons + Son stamp and hallmark. Whilst it was made by original maker Vaughtons the box states EFL. Dave Alexander dealt directly with the family and Chris enclosed the medal in an envelope which states To Dave Best Wishes Chris Lawler LFC which is included. Chris and a few other Liverpool players were awarded medals after the club thought it unfair they were not awarded a medal at the time as they did not make enough appearances.
